Detailed Package Overview

This four-day journey begins in Gwalior, where you are met by a representative on arrival and visit Gwalior Fort, Man Singh Palace, Sas Bahu Temple, Teli Ka Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace Museum and the Tomb of Tansen. On Day 2 you drive to Orchha (120 km, about three hours) to explore the Orchha Fort Complex, Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Rai Praveen Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Ram Raja Temple and the cenotaphs on the Betwa River.

Day 3 takes you to Khajuraho (180 km, about four hours), where you visit the Western Group of Temples and other temples, with an optional Light and Sound Show in the evening. On Day 4 you see the remaining attractions, including the Eastern Group of Temples, before a transfer to Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station.

  • Day 1: Arrival in Gwalior and Local Sightseeing

    Upon arrival at Gwalior Railway Station or Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and freshening up, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Gwalior, visiting the magnificent Gwalior Fort, the historic Man Singh Palace, Sas Bahu Temple, and Teli Ka Mandir. Continue your exploration with a visit to the Jai Vilas Palace Museum, known for its royal heritage, followed by the Tomb of Tansen, dedicated to the legendary musician. After completing the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gwalior.

  • Day 2: Gwalior to Orchha (120 km / 3 hours)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Orchha, a historic town known for its magnificent palaces, temples, and riverside cenotaphs. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed for sightseeing at the Orchha Fort Complex, including Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, and Rai Praveen Mahal. Later, visit the famous Chaturbhuj Temple and Ram Raja Temple, followed by the beautiful cenotaphs, also known as Chhatris, situated along the banks of the Betwa River. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and architectural beauty of this heritage town before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Orchha. Meals include breakfast.

  • Day 3: Orchha to Khajuraho (180 km / 4 hours)

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Khajuraho, renowned for its magnificent temples and intricate stone carvings. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and begin exploring the Western Group of Temples, including the famous Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Devi Jagdamba Temple, and Chitragupta Temple. Admire the remarkable architecture and artistic sculptures that make Khajuraho a significant cultural heritage destination. In the evening, you may attend the Light and Sound Show, an optional activity subject to availability and applicable charges. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Khajuraho.   • Day 4: Khajuraho Sightseeing and Departure

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue sightseeing in Khajuraho. Visit the Eastern Group of Temples and the Jain Temples, known for their architectural and religious significance. If time permits, explore the Archaeological Museum to learn more about the region's history, sculptures, and cultural heritage. Later, transfer to Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour concludes with memorable experiences of the historical monuments, magnificent temples, and cultural heritage of Gwalior, Orchha, and Khajuraho. Meals include breakfast.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Charges

The cancellation charges are calculated on the total tour cost and depend on how many days before the date of travel the cancellation is made.

  • From the date of booking up to 30 days before travel: 25% of the total tour cost
  • Between 30 and 15 days before travel: 50% of the total tour cost
  • Between 15 and 7 days before travel: 75% of the total tour cost
  • Between 7 and 0 days before travel: 100% of the total tour cost. No refund will be provided.

  • This cancellation policy is subject to change and depends on the hotel’s terms and conditions.
  • During peak seasons, such as long weekends, festival periods and summer vacations, most hotels apply 100% cancellation charges.

Airline Cancellation Policy

If your flight tickets are non-refundable, no refund will be issued in case of cancellation.

PACKAGE INCLUSION

The package includes three nights of accommodation in Gwalior, Orchha, and Khajuraho, daily breakfast as specified in the itinerary, pickup from Gwalior Railway Station or Airport, transfers between Gwalior, Orchha, and Khajuraho, local sightseeing at the attractions mentioned in the itinerary, transportation for the scheduled journey, and drop-off at Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station on the final day. The itinerary also includes visits to the major historical monuments, palaces, temples, and heritage sites mentioned for each destination. All inclusions are based on the itinerary provided and should be confirmed with the tour operator before booking.

PACKAGE EXCLUSION

The package excludes train or flight tickets, entry fees to forts, palaces, museums, temples, and other monuments wherever applicable, the optional Light and Sound Show in Khajuraho, guide charges, meals other than breakfast, personal expenses such as shopping, laundry, and beverages, camera fees wherever applicable, tips and gratuities, travel insurance, and any additional sightseeing or activities not mentioned in the itinerary. The Archaeological Museum visit on Day 4 is subject to available time and may not be possible if departure schedules are restrictive. Any additional transportation, accommodation, or services beyond those specified in the package will be charged separately.
