Embark on an epic 9-day overland journey crossing the heart of the Himalayas! Travel along the famous Manali-Leh Highway, conquer iconic high-mountain passes like Rohtang, Baralacha La, and Khardung La, explore the stunning Nubra Valley, and experience the magnificent color-changing waters of Pangong Lake.

Day 01: Arrival in Chandigarh / Ambala – Manali (300 km | 8–9 hrs)

Upon arrival at Ambala or Chandigarh Railway Station / Airport, meet your driver and proceed for a scenic drive to Manali. Upon arrival, check into your pre-arranged hotel. Overnight: Manali
Day 02: Manali Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day tour visiting Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery (closed on Mondays), and ancient village temples. In the afternoon, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, and Vashisht Village. Evening free to explore Manali Mall Road Market. Overnight: Manali
Day 03: Manali – Jispa / Sarchu (140 km | 5–6 hrs)

Begin your overland journey towards Leh. Cross Rohtang Pass (3,978 m), Keylong (3,350 m), and Baralacha La Pass (4,890 m). Arrive at Jispa/Sarchu near the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Check in at your tented campsite. Overnight: Jispa / Sarchu Campsite
Day 04: Jispa / Sarchu – Leh (335 km | 11–12 hrs)

After an early breakfast, ride north on the spectacular Manali-Leh Highway. Drive through Nakee La and Lachung La passes (16,617 ft), followed by lunch at Pang. Cross Morey Plains (Skyangchu Thang) and Tanglang La Pass (17,585 ft) before descending into the Indus Valley to reach Leh. Overnight: Leh
Day 05: Leh – Sham Valley Sightseeing – Leh (140 km | 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Sham Valley. Visit Alchi Monastery, Sangam (confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers), Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the Hall of Fame Museum. Overnight: Leh
Day 06: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley (128 km | 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the world's highest motorable roads (18,380 ft). Check into your hotel/camp upon arrival. Post-lunch, enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel safari amidst the Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight: Nubra Valley
Day 07: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok Route (150 km | 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via the scenic Shyok River road. Arrive at the campsite and enjoy leisure time watching the sunset over the color-changing lake. Overnight: Pangong Lake Camp
Day 08: Pangong Lake – Leh (140 km | 4–5 hrs)

Enjoy a picturesque sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. Optional en-route visits to Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace (at additional cost). Rest of the day is free to explore Leh Market for shopping (on your own). Overnight: Leh
Day 09: Departure from Leh

Early morning transfer to Leh Airport for your flight back home. Tour ends.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Up to 30 days before travel: The cancellation charges will be 25% of the total tour cost.
Between 30 and 15 days before travel: The cancellation charges will be 50% of the tour cost.
From 15 to 7 days before travel: The cancellation charges will be 75% of the tour cost.
Between 0 and 7 days before travel: The cancellation charges will be 100% of the tour cost. No refund will be provided.

Please Note: The cancellation policy is subject to change and depends on the hotel’s terms and conditions. During peak seasons, such as long weekends, festival periods, and summer vacations, most hotels apply 100% cancellation charges.

Airline Cancellation Policy: If your flight tickets are non-refundable, no refund will be issued in case of cancellation.

Accommodation: 08 nights accommodation on a twin/double sharing basis in handpicked hotels, resorts, and fixed Swiss campsites (2 nights in Manali, 1 night in Jispa/Sarchu, 3 nights in Leh, 1 night in Nubra Valley, 1 night at Pangong Lake).
Meals: Daily breakfast and dinner (MAP Plan) at all staying locations throughout the tour.
Transfers & Sightseeing: Complete private transportation from Chandigarh/Ambala pickup to Leh Airport drop, including Manali sightseeing, Manali-Leh Highway traverse, Sham Valley, Khardung La, Nubra Valley, Shyok route, and Pangong Lake in a non-AC vehicle (Xylo / Scorpio / Tempo Traveller based on group size).
Permits & Taxes: Inner Line Permits (ILP), LAHDC environmental fees, and wildlife protection fees for restricted regions in Ladakh.
Driver Charges: Driver allowance, fuel costs, toll taxes, state road taxes, parking fees, and night charges.

EXCLUSION

Airfare / Train Tickets: Flight fares or train tickets from your city to Chandigarh/Ambala and out of Leh Airport.
Personal Activities: Double-humped camel rides in Hunder, ATV quad biking, Rohtang Pass permit fees/permits, river rafting, or personal shopping.
Monument & Entrance Fees: Entry tickets to Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery, monasteries (Thiksey, Shey, Alchi), museums (Hall of Fame), or historical monuments.
Personal Expenses: Laundry, phone calls, room heating charges, tips, room service, alcoholic beverages, and bottled mineral water.
Medical & Emergency Costs: Personal travel insurance, medical expenses, oxygen cylinders, or emergency evacuation charges.
Unforeseen Event Charges: Extra costs arising due to landslides, road blockages, extreme weather, flight cancellations, or political disturbances.
