Ujjain and Omkareshwar Pilgrimage Tour Package

Visit two sacred Jyotirlinga temples on this four-day pilgrimage. In Ujjain, take darshan at Mahakaleshwar, attend the evening aarti at Ram Ghat and the Bhasma Aarti (pre-booking required), and visit temples including Kal Bhairav and Mangalnath. Then travel to Omkareshwar for darshan on the island in the Narmada River and the evening aarti.

Detailed Package Overview

This pilgrimage covers two of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. On Day 1 you visit Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain, along with Kal Bhairav, Harsiddhi Temple and Ram Ghat on the banks of the Shipra River, where you attend the evening aarti. On Day 2, you attend the early-morning Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar (pre-booking required), then visit Mangalnath Temple, Chintaman Ganesh Temple and Sandipani Ashram.

On Day 3 you drive about 140 km to Omkareshwar, where the Jyotirlinga temple stands on an island shaped like “Om” in the Narmada River. After a walk across the hanging bridge and the evening aarti, you stay overnight in Omkareshwar. On Day 4 you complete any remaining darshan and return to Ujjain or are dropped at Indore airport or railway station.

  • Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Ujjain

    Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Ujjain and complete the check-in formalities. After freshening up, begin your spiritual journey with darshan at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Later, visit other important religious sites, including Kal Bhairav Temple and Harsiddhi Temple, followed by Ram Ghat on the banks of the Shipra River. In the evening, attend the aarti at Ram Ghat and return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Ujjain.

  • Day 2: Bhasma Aarti and Ujjain Sightseeing

    Early in the morning, attend the sacred Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, subject to advance booking and availability. After breakfast, continue exploring Ujjain by visiting Mangalnath Temple, Chintaman Ganesh Temple, and Sandipani Ashram, each known for its religious significance and mythological connections. The evening is free for leisure activities and exploring the local markets of Ujjain. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Meals include breakfast.

  • Day 3: Ujjain to Omkareshwar

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Omkareshwar, located approximately 140 km from Ujjain. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, situated on an island in the Narmada River traditionally associated with the shape of the sacred symbol “Om.” Enjoy a peaceful walk across the hanging bridge and explore the surrounding temples and spiritual sites. In the evening, attend the aarti and experience the serene atmosphere of this holy destination. Enjoy an overnight stay in Omkareshwar. Meals include breakfast.

  • Day 4: Omkareshwar to Ujjain or Indore Drop

    After breakfast, complete any remaining darshan at Omkareshwar and prepare for departure. Begin the return journey to Ujjain or opt for a drop at Indore Airport or Railway Station, as per your travel arrangements. The tour concludes with visits to two of the most revered Jyotirlingas in India, Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar. Meals include breakfast.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Charges

The cancellation charges are calculated on the total tour cost and depend on how many days before the date of travel the cancellation is made.

  • From the date of booking up to 30 days before travel: 25% of the total tour cost
  • Between 30 and 15 days before travel: 50% of the total tour cost
  • Between 15 and 7 days before travel: 75% of the total tour cost
  • Between 7 and 0 days before travel: 100% of the total tour cost. No refund will be provided.

  • This cancellation policy is subject to change and depends on the hotel’s terms and conditions.
  • During peak seasons, such as long weekends, festival periods and summer vacations, most hotels apply 100% cancellation charges.

Airline Cancellation Policy

If your flight tickets are non-refundable, no refund will be issued in case of cancellation.

PACKAGE INCLUSION

The package includes accommodation for three nights, with two nights in Ujjain and one night in Omkareshwar, daily breakfast as specified in the itinerary, transfers between Ujjain and Omkareshwar, pickup and drop-off services as per the agreed travel plan, local sightseeing at the temples and attractions mentioned in the itinerary, and transportation for the scheduled journey to Ujjain, Omkareshwar, and the selected departure point. Assistance with information regarding Bhasma Aarti booking may be provided upon request; however, the aarti booking itself is subject to availability and confirmation. These inclusions are based on the itinerary provided and should be confirmed with the tour operator before booking.

PACKAGE EXCLUSION

The package excludes train or flight tickets, temple donations and special darshan charges, Bhasma Aarti booking fees if applicable, entry fees or activity charges wherever applicable, meals other than breakfast, personal expenses such as shopping, laundry, and beverages, tips and gratuities, travel insurance, and any additional sightseeing or transportation not mentioned in the itinerary. Any expenses arising from changes to the travel plan, delays, or unforeseen circumstances will be borne by the traveller. Services not specifically mentioned under package inclusions will be considered exclusions and charged separately.
